The River City (TN) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated is an organization of accomplished and professional local women. The members serve this community as role models, mentors, activists and volunteers who vigilantly work to ensure that the name “Links” represents not only a chain of friendship, but also a chain of purposeful service.
THE ARTS
The Links, Incorporated has a strong and rich record of support for the performing and visual arts, especially those programs and initiatives focused on the presentation of artists of color.
INTERNATIONAL TRENDS AND SERVICES
International Trends and Service expands the global platform for programs designed and developed to service the educational, health and cultural needs of people of African descent throughout the world.
SERVICES TO YOUTH
Services to Youth focuses on providing a range of innovative, substantive and sustainable Pre-K through age 16 programming that contributes proven results to key educational or social and community issues.
NATIONAL TRENDS AND SERVICES
The National Trends Facet has an emphasis on eliminating disparities to reduce service barriers through leadership, education, and service while continuing to promote programming designed to foster healthy lifestyles techniques.
HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES
The mission of the Health and Human Services facet is to promote and facilitate programs that support maintenance of good health and elimination of chronic health disparities in communities of color through education, health advocacy, and optimal utilization of health resources.
